some lodges are rustic, GREAT view of Arenal, pool bar and several hot spring pools on site which are amazing, taxi to town for ceviche, the EcoGlide zipline was the BEST!

Barcelo hotel Playa Tambor is a very nice hotel a little bit of a trip to get there but it is all inclusive and the food was amazing and as much to drink as you want. You can always get a bus from the Barcelo hotel in San Jose to take you all the way there for a small fee.
