Just returned from Napa trip. Thumbs up to Jessup Cellars and Girard, never been disapointed by these wineries, nice to see the new Girard Tasting room, next to Napa Valley Grill in Yountville. Thumbs down to Chimney Rock and Dariush wineries(25$ for tasting is just a tad insane, wouldn't be so bad if they put the 25$ towards the purchase of the wines) Black Stalion 10$ for tasting their basics, tasting their blend was a little pricey, lost any chance of selling me a bottle of it. Castello di Amorosa, nice winery, wasn't a fan of any of the wines during the tasting. Same can be said about Sterling, usually I can find a bottle of sterling I like, not this time around though. Returned with 12 bottles. 5 Jessup(Table for four, 2003 zin, zin port, cab port, 1 cab sauv) 4 Girard(2 old vine zin, 1 chard, 1 artistry) 3 T-Vine Going to have to get a larger wine fridge, current one is full.
