A fun filled week of being a local tourist!! We did as we pleased, met lots of people and enjoyed an island on only 5000 people!! It's like having the whole place to yourself! Check it out for some trips you won't find over the internet!

We flew in here and ended up walking out of the airport in search of "Gypsy Vans" that are local buses that will take you from the Airport to the city for $1 and from the city to Red Hook for $2!! Charlotte Amalie is a shopping and haggling city for bad jewelry, perfume and cheap liquor. I can honestly say by the time we made our way back I was so in love with St. John..... I wanted nothing to do with it!

Wanna get a workout in the morning? Bring lots of water and start climbing! From Cruz bay you can hike to Caneele Hill at 740 feet...then onward to Margaret Hill at 848 feet! The views... breathe taking.... We stopped to chill out at Honeymoon Bay for a dip in the water and then a cool down walk back to Cruz Bay.

As most of the locals said: 'This is the best deal on the island!' The customers service is like being at moms! Don't bother if you want tons of amenities, but if you want a cozy place to stay while you experience a beautiful and exotic island, this is it!
