Talk about this trip (1)
This popular eatery opens at 7 AM and may be the best place in the Freeport tourism area to fuel up before a full day of beaching or shopping. Its diner-style booths provide a comfortable backdrop for the inexpensive menu of traditional Bahamian and American food, from conch salad and curried mutton to seafood or a BLT. Pancakes, eggs, and special Bahamian breakfasts -- stew fish, boil fish, or chicken souse (the latter two are soups flavored with lime), with johnnycake or grits -- are served all day.
