Your trip is almost the same with mine. I will go in April and will stay in Famous Guest House in HK too. I am trying to get information on how to go from Guangzhou to Shenzhen. So far, I have the schedule for the train, but could not find the website for it. How long does it take from Macau to Guangzhou? and Guangzhou to Shenzhen?

the train schedule from Guangzhou to Shenzhen is quite regular. i think it runs every 30 minutes or so. i found the train is really good standard. and it takes about an hour from guangzhou to shenzhen.
from macau-guangzhou, we just get on one of the bus company operated from one of the hotels in macau. you can search this from google. i'm so i can't really remember since it was quite awhile. but it would be good if you could prepare ahead since i remember the connection is a bit complicated, because you have to get off the bus and go through the immigration line in zhuhai (border of macau-china) and then you have to fine your own way to your previous bus in within some dept store building. but perhaps it depends on the bus company. so, good luck and enjoy your trip!
