Paris Anniversary Trip T&C

Just walk north, along Rue Monge, from the Place Monge Metro Station. These Roman ruins are just south of the Cardinal Lemoine Metro Station.

Take Metro from Philippe Auguste (Line 2 to Line 6) south to the Picpus Station. Short walk from there to 35 Rue de Picpus, then follow the directions into the property to the grave. Be advised that this is not open until 1 PM in the afternoon and is not always on any king of regular schedule!

Really going here to eat lunch on the deck overlooking the Seine River.

Walk across from the left bank to the right bank and the store is 1 block north of Pont Neuf.

From here walk down to Rue Cler or take the metro from Trocadero station to Ecole Militaire (Line 6 to Line 8).

BUY BREAKFAST ITEMS AT RUE CLER FOR TUESDAY MORNING BEFORE THE SHUTTLE PICK UP TO THE AIRPORT!!

Evening dinner cruise to see the city light up! Bateaux Parisiens boards 7:45 PM from Pier 7. Leaves at 8:30 PM for €120 (euros) each (window seat) $312.00. Reservation confirmed 3/7/07.

Walk due south down Rue du Renard to Hotel de Ville. Note the Metro Station as we pass it.

Take the Metro from here (Hotel de Ville station, Line 1) to the Trocadero station, Line 9.

Eating lunch late, after a good breakfast, because dinner isn't until 9 PM tonight.

Only 1 block north and 1 block east of the Jardin Luxembourg. Opens at Noon.

Across from the Opera Garnier in the hotel Intercontinental Paris Le Grand.

May be able to have breakfast in the La Verriere (glass roof) or the Cafe.

BUY THE 2-DAY PARIS VISITE METRO PASS FOR THE NEXT TWO DAYS METRO TRAINS.

Walk over the bridge behind Notre Dame and enter the Ile St. Louis. Small dining area and pretty cramped. But it was good and we had a nice time. We passed the Berthillon on the way to Ile d'Cite and had ice cream!

Just one block west from Rue Cler. Met Jean-Claude and Josiane for dinner and they drove us to the hotel after dinner.

The Iles Flottantes is unbelievable so save room for dessert.

West along Rue Rambuteau through Les Halles to Rue Coquilliere, just past Rue de Jour.

Open 24/7 and not very expensive.

Take Line E then a short walk back to the hotel.

Need to be at the Metro station around 6 AM to allow time to collect tickets 45 minutes prior to 7:16 AM Euro Star departure. Metro ride should only take 5 minutes from Opera RER Station Line E.

Just north of La Sorbonne.

Reservation requested by e-mail on Feb. 13th. No confirmation. Asked Hotel Mansart to follow up on reservation on 2/16 and reservation confirmed 2/16. Dinner starts at 9 PM.

Take Metro from St. Germain station (at intersection of Rue Bonaparte and Rue Goslin near Boulevard Saint-Germain) Line 4, to Montparnasse/Bienvenue station.
