Notes
After our long drive we took a nap and then looked for a place to eat within walking distance. We found Tunnicliff's which served a limited night menu. We enjoyed hamburgers and salad. We walked the streets afterward in the quiet neighborhood. All was well.

It was Market Day with live entertainment and street food vendors. We ate chicken shish kabobs and funnell cake. Many vendors for crafts and flea market items. The city closed off serveral blocks to make room for all the vendors.

Notes
This may abe the largest mosque in the US but it does not compare to the ones in Egypt. We did not go in the prayer room becasue Julie did not have head covering and AB did not prepare for prayer. But we did look in the door and it was very beautiful with carpets and carvings and marble. Very ornate.

Julie had lamb kabobs and AB had lamb stew and chicken shawarma. The food was good but there was no atmosphere. I guess you can't have it all. It was authentic sudanese food.
