We're spending a week or so in the SF, Berkeley, Napa Valley area before driving down the coast, making stops along the way including Monterrey, maybe Pismo Beach, Santa Barbara/Solvang/Los Olivos, LA and ultimately San Diego for a week of family fun with a 4-year-old and 1-year-old.
