Best food around! Delicios seasonal menu and dining on deck overlooking lake.
Friday Night: Seasons 52 for Dinner
Saturday Morning: Breakfast at Too Jay's followed by taking the dog to the Dog Park and shopping at the Premium Outlet Mall.
Saturday Afternoon: Trip to Cassadaga Spiritualist Camp for a good dose of palm-reading at the Universalist Center. Then a trip to Daytona Beach to seek out all the remnants of Tiki Culture. Dinner at Crabby Joe's on the pier overlooking the ocean.
Saturday Night: Frantic drive through Disney property trying to find the Polynesian Resort for Tiki Drinks and souvenirs. Had one of the best drinks here called the Zen&Zang. Then on to a tragic bar tour in Orlando.
Sunday Morning: Attempt to eat at Waffle House near downtown Disney failed due to long wait, so off we went to find the next nearest Waffle House off of I-4. Waffles and hash browns (scattered and smothered) and bacon were had. Then off to Clearwater Beach.
Sunday Afternoon: Lingering at the beach followed by pina-coladas and seafood at a nearby hotel, the name of which I've forgotten. Very tasty with a great view. Our trip to Wikee Wachee was aborted due to time so as compensation we visited Dinosaur World in Plant City. What I expected to be completely cheesy and unkempt provided a very nice surprise. The park is in excellent condition and is beautifully planted and well maintained. The dinosaur sculptures are surprisingly well done (and in surprisingly good shape) and are accompanied by very well-researched information regarding the specie of dinosaur, it's time period and even displays explaining how paleontologists search for and uncover dinosaur fossils. The entire experience is well worth the trip and I think you'll find the park beautiful as well as relaxing. And maybe even a littel educational!
