Help me out please! Want to take husband and 2 school-age kids of mine to Maine to see attractions and especially LIGHTHOUSES! Want the cheapest but nice hotel with a swimming pool and need to rent a car since I'm coming from Canandaigua, NY (20 mi. south of Rochester, NY).
Any advice would be appreciated. Also, is Amtrack nice and more reasonable for my itinerary than renting a car??? Thanks so much!
