Flights: Poland is not the easiest place to get to from the states. However, you can fly over with only one connection from Atlanta to Krakow on LOT Airlines (Poland's official airline). You can fly to Warsaw with just one connection from Atlanta with Delta, but they don't fly to Krakow. Another option is to add Berlin and/or Prague at the beginning or end of the trip. Delta has direct flights between Prague and Atlanta. (Distance between Prague and Berlin is about 6 hours by car). Berlin wold require one change of planes on Delta, but I'm sure there is another airline where you could fly direct from Atlanta. Asheville can be added as well, but that may require an extra flight. Basically, there are a lot of flight options but they aren't necessarily too convenient. But we can alter the trip to do whatever you would prefer!
