Does anyone have recommendations for things to do over a weekend in Myrtle Beach? It's unlikely that we'll have a car, so we'll be dependent on public transport.

Go have a nice meal at Dick's(you'll love it),hit the beach. Then go to a couple bars and meet some lovely southern women. Myrtle beach was my place to go while in the U.S. Marines. Great memories there. Have Fun and have a DD, police are no Joke down there.

I have been to myrtle beach before and it was great. Definetly go to dick's resturant. Also make sure and go to the barefoot landing, that was alot of fun. The ripleys aquarium was also great to go to, especially if you don't live near the ocean and get to see that stuff.... Going back this year!!!!

Are you kidding, dicks? Overpriced and super to noisy. Broadway at the Beach is best, fun clubs and good shopping. Pier 14 is a great place to eat, their shrimp is great. If you want a nice romantic place, I liked Myrtle Beach state park, or maybe Hunnington Beach, I think its the one that has the Atalaya Plantation, its nice to go see for a "couple thing". I have been going for years, lots of fun things to do and great shopping.
