Hesperia to Mojave Desert: 4-6pm

We will be housed in two tented cabins - $20: "These Eco-Lodges are designed to provide a comfortable camping experience in the natural desert environment. Each cabin is air-cooled and outfitted with two double bed sized bedsteads, a wood fired stove, electric lights and overhead fan, table and chairs. Large picture window flaps on either end allow cross ventilation when desired and unobstructed views of Ivanpah Valley. The bedsteads are designed for sleeping bag usage, although linens and blankets are available for guests wishing them. Nearby amenities include a flush toilet lavatory and hot shower building, an outdoor hot tub with scenic views of the sky and valley below and an outdoor amphitheater with fire pit for small groups. A continental style breakfast is served each morning for cabin guests."

Power Parachuting: "An Introductory Flight or Initial Training Flight, is a flight that is piloted by an experienced Instructor/CFI. During this flight you will be comfortably seated in the 2nd or rear seat of the powered parachute. You will be able to hear your instructor via helmet head-phones. The instructor will demonstrate the use of the simple components used for powered parachute flight while you are flowing over some of the most scenic country in southern Utah." $75 for 30 minutes in the sky and $2 each additional minute or 20% off if there are at least 5 of us who wanna go up.

We will be camping at Zion Canyon Campground - $5. I have 2 tents for 6-7 people. Let me know if you can get your hands on one more tent. (If you don't want to camp, let me know now. There is a Quality Inn on the premise - $80/room).

Evening activites: Camping, night hike, heated pool, star gazing, fire circle, smores

7:30am-2pm: Canyoneering - $90. "Designed with large groups in mind, we navigate and problem solve our way through an in-canyon ropes course. Your group harnesses new skills to set-up and negotiate rappels and zip-lines. All group members prove competency with harness and helmet use, belays, rappelling 20 to 150 feet, occasional swimming, and hiking." This place is across the street from the campground.

We will be sharing two nice hotel rooms with 2 queen beds each at Excaliber (room w/view and 42" plasma screen) - $32. Optional spa access 'til 9pm - $20.
