Hi,
I am planning a road trip in March 08 for Ajanta, Ellora Caves and a visit to the Lonar Crater near Aurangabad. I am driving solo but looking for some good company who might be interested in seeing the places. I am based in Mumbai and start from Mumbai and will be back on the 4th day. This will be a kind of exploratory trip done in truely backpacker style.
Aim is to see new places, enjoy the countryside while driving, enjoy local food, culture and the people.

Ajanta & Ellora Caves
Daulatabad Fort
Bibi ka Maqbara
Lonar Crater

I am a 30 yr computer graduate but passionate about travelling.
I am planning a road trip in March 08 for Ajanta, Ellora Caves and a visit to the Lonar Crater near Aurangabad. Did you do the trip? m planning the same this June - with kids. How long is the drive - time wise? Is lonar crater worth a dekho? How far is it from Aurangabad? Ur adivise wud be v helpful so thx in advance.
