For my hubby's pre-deployment leave to Iraq, we decided to go on our delayed honeymoon. Initially, we wanted to be beach bums for the entire time of our vacation but there are a lot of awesome things to do and see. To compromise, our schedule is set up so that on some days we're out exploring while other days we're getting our tan on. Most of the places listed were inspired by great reviews and word of mouth. The top 3 things I'm super excited about are the helicopter tour, captain bob's snorkeling, and sea life park luau. I picked the sea life park luau because I heard their dolphin show, food, and entertainment were wonderful. I also like that fact that it's an intimate luau with less than 100 people and doesn't last all day. Our honeymoon is just around the corner! I can't wait to share pictures of our trip =)

Sounds like a great time. I like a lot of things that you have planned. Your husband is just deploying and I just got back from the United Arab Emrites. I was deployed there for 4 months. I told my wife I would take her to Hawaii when I got back as a second honeymoon. We are going to be there from the 21st Feb thru the 2nd of march. We are going to many of the same things as you. Have you thought about doing the Atlantis Submarine. They have a great military discount. Normally around $85 but with the discount it is around $35. If you are going to MWR on Friday swing by the ITT and check out all of there discounts. They really have some great deals. My wife and I are going by there on the 22nd to get our tickets for the sub, ATV, waterpark, dinner cruise and luau.

Hey Mike,
Thanks for the wonderful tips! You know I never put much thought into going on the Atlantis Submarine. I'll have to check it out. You're so right, the ITT is a must stop for discounts. We have an ITT here in Camp Pendleton, CA but I didn't see any tickets for the ATV rides. We'll have to stop by the one in Hawaii. Thanks again and I hope you and your wife have an amazing second honeymoon. That would be funny if we ran into you at the ITT! - Irene
