For those who want to go there is a meeting spot right around the corner from the hotel. It is $15 per person! There are also horse and buggy tours which are fun but more pricey!

There will be plenty to see and do in the french quarter with all the live music and food for the festival!

Steve and I have stayed here before and it is amazing. Right on Bourbon Street and very elegant! It is kind of pricey but you cant beat the location. It has a pool, courtyard and is gorgeous. There are other hotels close by though for lower prices for those who wish. It seems that hotels.com and other discount sites have better rates!

I tried to make all activities close by so that we can walk and there will be no need for a rental car! Only a taxi to and from the airport!

Cheap tickets seem to have the cheapest flights so far. They say Wednesdays are the best days to buy tickets because of fare wars between airlines.

Nice! I am going to NOLA to celebrate my 30th as well, cept it's already passed and I'm going for Mardi Gras. Why have a party when you can just GO!
