Polly: Thanks for your comment. Tucson really is beautiful. I am sure summers are a different experience. I hope you are able to visit again soon, if not move back there.
I lived in Tucson in the 70s. Moved there sight unseen! My heart must have known that it would hold me captive all of these years. Making plans to return sooner than later, permanently (summers and all). Just spent time in Mesa this month....very nice, but not Tucson. It just has that magic - that ring of mountains that you see every day of your life - and those awesome coyotes.... xoxo
I enjoy the effort you put into your vacations and trip journals. With all the empty trip plans and commercials for companies on Yahoo Travel its nice to get some real ideas from someone who has been there.
Ava Boyer: Thanks for your comment! As long as you avoid the extreme heat in the middle of the summer (June, July, August), you should be okay. We were there in January, but that probably wouldn't work for you, since you are starting in Oregon. I'm not sure, but I guess late March or October would be the best for you.
You have great info.on here.My husband and I are planning a trip there next year to see his sister and family. We are going to ride our Harley down,We will becoming fromOregon so what monthes would you say is the best to go there on. Thank you
B-spit: Thanks for the comment! I would like to encourage you to post a travel log. If not from your trip to Tucson, then of your next vacation. I am looking forward to reading it!
Thank you
Your trip to Puerto Rico looks great. I have often thought about vacationing there. Maybe I'll try to go in 2009.
