Talk about this trip (1)
This was the first day of a fantastic trip to the Boston and New York area. We traveled on Skybus airlines from Greensboro to Chicopee for a total of $42 per person round trip. We had 7 x $10 tickets and 3 x $35 tickets. This was the first time flying for the kids, Will and Madyson. The temperature was very cold, from 10-0 degrees, with wind. Some how we managed to not shut the door on the rental car when we parked in the parking deck in Salem. Nothing was bothered as it sat wide open for two hours!
The tour of the House of Seven Gables was nice, but the kids wished we had seen a little more about the witch trials.
We first looked for Lobsta Land, but found it closed for the season. Lobster was not cheap up here, so we ended up eating at the Cheesecake factory. We split a plate of black pepper shrimp and Chicken Mandera.
Back at the hotel we all got in the hot tub. The kids had a ball, and liked the Mercury Sable we had for a rental car.
