Tours are available Monday through Saturdays (except major holidays) from 10 am to 4 pm. Guests can park at the free visitors parking, where a Coors bus picks them up. On most days, the bus takes the visitors on a short tour of downtown Golden before heading into the Coors factory. That baking bread smell? It’s the barley and hops. Fortunately, the smell goes away once inside the building. There, visitors queue up for 45-minute guided tours of the brewery. While they wait, guests can sit look at Coors memorabilia through the years and get a sense for the wide assortment of brands the company makes.

***NEED RESERVATIONS**** Adventure tour (bring change of clothes)
This 90-minute guided tour, introduced in 2005, is less strenuous than our Wild Tour, and more challenging than our Cave Tour. Allow 2.5 hours total to gear up and gear down before and after the tour. # You can bring old clothes if you choose: long pants and long-sleeved shirts that may get dirty and/or ripped. Or, coveralls will be provided for $5 per person. All guests will be provided with lighted helmets, gloves, kneepads, and elbow pads free of charge. This is a moderately strenuous activity that involves crawling on your hands, knees, and stomach; it is accessible by most people. The smallest section is approximately 24 inches square. Not recommended if you are claustrophobic. ** If you bring your own clothes, you must bring a clean change of clothes up the mountain to put on once the tour is finished. We cannot allow guests to ride the Tram down in dirty clothes because the seats are carpeted and dirt can be transferred to other guests. Lockers are available. Reservations are required for the Adventure Tours, call 970-945-4228 extension 111.

--Also have HORSEBACK RIDING here--
Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park has teamed up with Capitol Peak Outfitters to offer horseback riding on Iron Mountain . Experienced guides lead one-hour trail rides on gentle, well-trained horses. Riders enjoy incredible views of Glenwood Canyon, Glenwood Springs and the Roaring Fork valley as they wind through the trees.

-ALPINE RUSH-
Open weather permitting
Strap yourself into a seat on the Alpine Rush and take a thrill ride 650 feet downhill, over the tree tops, at speeds up to 50 miles per hour. Enjoy beautiful views of the Roaring Fork Valley as you ride to the top, then hold on tight for an exhilarating ride. There are four seats available.

A short, 0.2 mile walk from the parking area provides a spectacular view of the pink cliffs and Cascade Falls, a favorite local haunt featuring footpaths and informative signs on both sides of the creek. Halfway to the falls, the Lower Cascade Trail climbs steeply to the right to the Amphitheater Road just above Na Gach picnic area. To the picnic area and back is only one mile, with an altitude gain of 450 feet. Along the way, Ouray spreads out below the hill; Whitehouse and U.S. Mountain dominate the western horizon.
