Trip to visit Paula's family in Kansas City. Then I'm going to visit my friend Mike in San Diego. There, I'm renting a motorcycle to visit the sights until my friend Tim gets into town. I also want to try my hand at surfing. All in time to make it back to Chicago by New Years.

That's an easy decision for me. I love San Diego and not particularly fond of Vegas. But I like the outdoor attractions and events in San Diego vs all the shows and casinos of Vegas. For me there's just so much more to do and keep my interest in San Diego. And I'm craving more surf time. I gotta get me some radical waves.
