The most popular is to pack a picnic and some swimming gear and head to the Touw River Waterfall. As you leave here, head to the right. Just around the corner you will see a railway and road bridge. Go straight under this bridge and into the forest. After about 40mins of easy paddling you will reach a point where it becomes too shallow and narrow to continue. Leave the canoe on the right hand side of the river with the lifejackets hidden inside the buckets and the paddles in the bushes. Find the narrow path on the right hand side of the river leading up onto the bank where you will pick up a wider path, this is the Giant Kingfisher Trail. Follow the path upstream for about 40 mins to the waterfall. Return the same way.

Hi, This is a basic plan for my trip. can anyone suggest any places i may have missed ? Or places which i can skip, and if the plan itself seems ok and achievable ?

It looks like a great plan but I bet you will be exhausted - 3 places on one day don't leave much time for just hanging out and enjoying the marvelous views. You want to leave time to stop on the way to Knysna and take pics and brouse around the market stalls in Knysna etc. Enjoy!
