The Eutelsat Balloon is in the Parc André Citroën, a few blocks from the Balard station on the Paris Métro. (Take the Métro in the direction of Balard, which is at the end of Line 8.) Signs will direct you to the park.If you're coming from the Eiffel Tower, the Musée d'Orsay, St-Michel, or other neighborhoods on the Seine, take RER Line C along the Left Bank toward Versailles Rive Gauche or St-Quentin-en Yveline and get off at the Boulevard Victor RER station. The park is hard to miss--just look for the balloon.The balloon normally offers 10-minute rides from 9 a.m. until 30 minutes before the park closes, but the schedule sometimes changes, and rides may be cancelled for a day or two at a time because of windy weather. (For aerodynamic reasons, the balloon's capacity drops as the wind increases, and rides are cancelled when anticipated winds or gusts exceed 35 km/h or about 20 mph.). The ticket office is a few steps away, facing the balloon. Go inside to buy tickets, look at the exhibits, and browse the gift shop.

In Paris, the Eutelsat Balloon offers 10-minute rides to an altitude of 150 meters, or about 500 feet, for as little as 10 euros. (That's for a weekday adult ticket; kids pay half price.)

Beaware of pickpocketin metro, bus station. Traffic is crazy.Long line for buying tickets. Check taxi fare, meter, theft in taxi.
High price of food near Doumo. No food for pegions near Doumo. Before entering restaurants,check menu outside. If not avoid that shop. Otherwise may take more for service.
This is a special WARNING for all male visitors of Milan! There are two streets in Milan which you have to AVOID: first one MONTENAPOLEONE, and the second one Via della SPIGA! This two streets are probably the most expensive streets on earth. EXTREME caution to Gypsies as they surround you in group and steal in bags and pockets.

Traveling on the Madrid Metro: The Madrid metro is a very useful form of transport and is the perfect way to avoid the endless traffic congestion in Madrid. It runs until 1am, after which the nightbuses start to run. These nightbuses recently started running along the same routes as the metro, which is quite convenient.
There are a number of tickets available, be sure to buy the right one. Change the display at the machine into English and you'll see a number of options. Most of them pertain to areas of the Metro you are unlikely to use, so ignore them. The two types of ticket you are most likely to be using:
Single (Price 1€). The simplest ticket, but more expensive than the many money saving options available to you. Only buy this on your final day when you won't be using the metro much more.
10 Journeys Metrobús (Price 6.15€) Not quite as good value as it used to be, but it still brings the price of an individual journey down to 60c rather than 1€. Can be used over several days and shared between people too
