We always stay here becuase it is close to my dad's brother. It doesn't look like much but it is always clean and this year there is new queen beds. Close to I 17.

The guys LOVED this part of the trip. They are both plane enthusiasts. They arrived early, took a guided walking tour (45 min)that started @ 10:15, then took the tram tour @ 1130, they then walked the boneyard gound exhibits and looked at everything of interest and @ 2 pm via tour bus went to the Museum at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base.

Great place to stay while in Tucson. With the base of the Santa Catalina Mountains as it's backdrop- beautiful!!!! Bob and Beth are great hosts and bob gives the best directions and they both offer great suggestions as to what you have planned. Their home is beautiful and roomy!!! If you get the chance stay here!

We all loved this old mission. the history and beauty of this palce is awesome!!! If you go, and are able make the trek up Grotto Hill, the view of the mission and surrounding area is wonderful While we were atop the gotto, a road runner lit on a nearby bush.

I enjoyed only a few shops here. There are lots of fine art shops here. I was hoping for more handmade wares. We spent an entire day here, I wish we had spent more time in Mexico instead, just 20 miles from Mexico. However there is a little restaurant there that is known for thier margarita's. I can't remember the name but it is family owned and YES the BEST margaritas EVER!!!

Port of entry town, mexican's very poor area. however the people are so nice and wanted to show you EVERYTHING they had to sell. We didn't have enough time. don't forget your passport after December of this year.

Call and make reservations!!!! We were very lucky to get in because most days they are booked. Live cave. if you can go when the big room is open also, we didn't get to ssee the Big Room. (Ladies beware you CANNOT take your purse or fanny pack with you, also no cameras ;( -- too many
people bumped into the cave and caused damage.)

Arizon Zoo with animals in their natural habitat. I forgot sunscreen -- the restrooms provided sunscreen dispensors - NICE! You are allowed to take in your own water -- I would recommend you do so. It takes about 2/12 to 3 hours. The bird avairy and the hummingbird aviary were both GREAT!!!

Just past Apache Junction, Az This is truly a beautiful Mountain. I want to go back and take a jeep tour. Also 12 miles up the mountain is town of Tortilla Flats, AZ -- no Side rails on the road very slow and careful driving.

I did not enjoy this at all. A TOURIST TRAP!!!! We took the mine tour, it was so poorly done DON"T waste your money! Our guide talked more about himself than mining. It is a replication of a mine, NOT THE REAL DEAL!!!
