I figured if we left early (around 5:00am) on October 25th we could be in Vermont by noon time. We can get to the place we are staying relax a bit then go out and do something if we wish. We'll stay overnight and if we like it we can stay another day and leave for New Hampshire after that. We'll stay there for a day/night and see what it has to offer. Tops five day trip from Thursday-Sunday/monday.

We can stay in Burlington Vermont and North Conway New Hampshire, since that seems to be the places that offer the most things to do.
