What are you planning to do in Scranton area? There is the Streamtown and Nay Aug Park. But if you are driving to Binghamton NY from Scranton take Route 11. It is slower but Route 81 is under construction. Just be careful in Factoryville PA, Route 6 go west (which is part of the Endless Mountain Wine Trail) and Route 11 goes North. OH YOU HAVE TO STOP IN NICHOLSON PA!! Take a picture of the Nicholson Bridge. If you are luck, you will see a train going across.
