Working towards an approximately 90 day motor home trip visiting family and doing lots of sight seeing of west coast and north west.

Plan on leaving NY via RV in March 2008. Doing a three month trip spending a month in CA with family and then heading north looking at Northern CA, Oregon and Washington States.
Would like advice on laying out that part of the trip for maximum sight seeing as this will be our last hurray so would like to make it a good one.
