My Dad and I are getting ready to fly to Eureka for my niece's wedding. We are Californians relocated to Colorado and it was great to read your recommendations for 4 days in Eureka, which is exactly how long we will be there. Thanks!

I have been looking for info. on a RV park in the Samoa Dunes area. I haven't been able to to find anything about it. A good friend tells me he has stayed there. Has anyone ever heard of it?

We were there in August. Surprised at the cold temperatures. Going back in a few weeks because my husband has another business trip there at Humboldt Bay for 2 weeks. We will spend a couple days checking out the area, before we head back to Michigan, where we are working. We have our home in upstate NY. We saw the redwoods and the place where the elk hang out and the path going in the forrest. Forget the name of the place. I had fun at the casino too. I'd like to check out the Confusion Place too. Saw one in Wisconson Dells, WI
