Headquarters Plaza Hotel is walking distance to the Morristown Green (town square), and adjacent to the movie theaters - they have dinner and a movie specials. Grab a picnic lunch and head to Lewis Morris Park - it has playgrounds, swimming, trails, and historical soldiers cabins - don't forget a visit to Tempee Wick house - she hid her horse in her bedroom so the British couldn't take it in the Revolutionary war. For kids, the Morris Museum is a lot of fun, and periodically it has great exhibits for adults too. There is also a place called Fosterfields - which is a turn of the century working farm. The colonial houses make this town charming, and there is a lot more to do than I listed - I happen to be a mom so I am mentioning kids things.
