Going Back To Cali Yeah that's Right!

Hot and humid as usual. Picked up some breakfast tacos and warm Taco Cabana Tortillas then left on to I-10 west. Just as we reached loop 1604 a police chase flew by us as to give us a fond farewell.

Real nice town, love the sausage that comes out of here.

Don't forget to take some seeds home.

Wedged between Fredericksburg and I-10 it sits close to the Pedernales River. Real nice part of Texas, with many old ranches. Harper has an animal auction house on the main road. They have the Annual Frontier Days Rodeo in September. Sad to say this but don't be suprised to encounter some prejudisium in the northern parts of Texas.

Don't leave with out seeing the Sonora Caverns but bring some cash there is no atm on site and they do take credit cards.

Really small it's actually called a Village not a town. This village may date back as far as 1600, The Owl Bar,contains the bar from the old Crystal Palace, it's actually listed on the State Historical and Cultural Properties.

Nice little town. Stay at the San Miguel Inn the owners are really nice.
