For my 30th birthday I wanted to do something special. So I have chosen to go somewhere I've been talking about visiting for years: africa. It's time to start living life out loud on my terms:)
I have just started planning this trip for sometime next year (before September) and would love to hear from people who have done it. My plan is to climb Kilimanjaro with a credible experienced group - any suggestions or recommendations on a good one to use would be appreciated!
I would like to see some of Tanzania besides the mountain, and possibly Kenya too if I have enough time. Ideas? Dar Es Salaam might be interesting...
Also, information or advice for a 30 year old woman traveling alone in Tanzania would be helpful.
I should be getting the Lonely Planet books for my 30th birthday next month and will definitely be reading them and getting as much data as possible to make this trip a success!
