Going south for the first time - Kentucky!

We ate here and when we drove into the parking lot, could tell it was different! Hand seats, a tea cup fountain, and a horse statue with electric plug tail greeted us! A small store with strange lamps and other things you will see in the restaurant was in the front. When we got to the front of the restaurant we were seated immediately and a waitress came over. It took us a while to order since so much looked good but we made up our mind. The meat eater of us had the Paradise Hot Brown, which was served bubbly and golden. I (vegetarian) asked if I could have some of the sides as a maindish and she said they have a meal not on the menu for that which has four sides. I had the mac and cheese (Served like a brick), cheese grits, rosemary braised cabbage (delish!!), and pan fried apples. By the end of our meal we were both stuffed!! It was a great start to our first day in Louisville!

Arrive in late evening from Chicago!
