Lots of shops. It remained me of Manhattan.

First night in...we needed something safe. Cheesecake Factory it is. We were seated on the 8th floor terrace though. It got pretty cold.

A lot of walking. Man those hills can really put a hurt in you. Bring good walking shoes. They views though are worth it.

Had our first Dungeness crab...It was worth it.

We rented a convertible and headed down Pacific Route 1, with several stops along the way. We also drove the 17-mile scenic drive through Pebble Beach. Some people just have too much money.

Tom "The Wine Guy" took good care of us. We didn't book a private tour, but we ended up getting one, since no one else signed on. We visited about four wineries, we saw how they make wine barrell...which we learned they can only be used twice...we also learned how they make champagne wine. In the way we also biked nearly 20 miles.

Supposedly, this is the place where you'll have the best burger in your life. I admit it was good. But not sure whether it was the best. Wendy's makes a fine burger too and it's cheaper.

It's hard to describe how big these trees are. The ride to the park though was scary. You drive up on the side of the mountain with no guard rails on a two-lane narrow road.
