Maui Family Reunion in October

I shared a condo with my parents for the week. I saved $2000 dollars for the whole trip. My plane ticket was about $800 (from Charlotte to Dallas to Maui) and I pitched in $300(I think) on the condo. Don't remember the total cost of the condo for the week, but I do remember thinking it was very reasonable. We bought some groceries at the beginning of the week and saved some major $$ that way. We also bought fresh fish from the grocery store (apparently just as good as the markets) and grilled out 3 nights. MMMM... We ate some awesome sushi two of the nights (HAD to go back). We planned something fun for everyday and spent extra time mostly on the beautiful beach or shopping (which wasn't that great). One word to describe the trip- beautiful. Another word- exciting! Aloha!
