We’re in London, We’re in London- We made it safely! Gatwick Express was easy. Tube was way too crazy after having been on a plane all day/night. So we decided on a short taxi ride to the apartment. Visualize the little comedic scene where all of the clowns are stuffed in one car… that was us! The apartment is awesome. Picture may not be as easy as I thought. Hopefully we can get some on this sight before the end of the trip.

This Bloody city is packed! Everyone is really nice. There's plenty to do. You can take real vacations here and never leave central London. The difficult part is learning the rail system and getting around the subway. We went to Pizzaexpress. I had a margherita pizza and a peroni. Wow! The beer was strong and just a lit-el bit coa-lda than room tempa-ture. The pizza had a smear of tomatoe sauce, four basil leaves & white circles of mozzarela. Can you say fresh cheese? Nothing like the states. Even the Bruschetta was different and delicious. BTW we walked for miles around central London after being up for over 24hrs.We will upload pics tomorrow of Big Ben, Parliament, Trafalgar Square and other nearby attractions. I'm already picking up the accent.

we got up early today to take train to Paris. We took the Eurostar from London to Paris about a 3hr ride. Paris was a little more exciting because of the language barrier. Outside of the train station there was a bosnian lady that walked up to me with a piece of paper and asked me (with her flawless speech) do you speak English. The note said she was stranded and she needed money. I offered her my nasty rice cakes. She studied the label and shook her head is disgust. So I walked off. Through out Paris these notes followed us. WHAT A LAME SCAM!
We got in line for a taxi cab (how proper) and for 12 Euros we arrived at Notre Dame. WOW! The architecture is amazing.
We bought tickets for a boat tour. You get to hop on and hop off at most major attractions. The Louvre was our next stop followed by the Arch de Triomphe (not sure how to spell it) and finally at the Eifel tower. I'm extremely exhausted and will write again tomorrow. We haven't been able to post pictures because this computer has restrictions. Tomorrow we'll go by an internet cafe.
Good night!
