Managua

Oscar: I wanted to email you the following recommendation from the Rice family. I along with my 3 teenagers stayed at the accomodations of Oscar Fonseca for approximately 7 different days during our 20 day visit to Nicaragua from December 17 - January 7, 2004. The accomodations were clean, quiet, and centrally located within walking distance to a variety of restaurants and stores. The Huembris market is also within a $1.00 taxi cab ride from Oscar's. I highly recommend a consideration of this property if you are visiting Managua. During our initial stay in Managua, our family of four encountered multiple problems with lost luggage, damaged goods, etc. Oscar spent substantial time traveling back and forth between his guest home and the airport assisting me in obtaining my luggage. His wife is an excellent cook, and his son Martin is very helpful and friendly. Also, Oscar is able to communicate in English. Mark Rice mrice@games2remember.com
