Hi Lofty, sorry I havent been checking this for a bit so didnt see your comment until just now. I'm in Armenia and internet is dodgy to say the least.
I use a Nikon 8800 which I find a good compromise between size, capability and quality but very limited in accessories. You can get them cheap on ebay though.
