Gwen's birthday is early in May - which is usually filled with musicals and prom. So we "do" her birthday a little later. Gwen likes to shop, I just like spending time with my daughter. This is our 2nd annual birthday trip. Hopefully we will always be able to take a trip for her birthday... even after next year when she goes off to college.

Great fun! Make sure you do supper at Ouzo on Milwaukee street - Greek food at its best! We spent most of the time at Grand Avenue Mall and T.J. Maxx. The shops and restaurants along Wisconsin Avenue near the river are super. Spent a little time at River Splash and on the Lake front. Also had to make Cold Stone Ice Cream run... up on Oakland avenue. All in all... it was great getaway!
