then you've got the seafood places on the water:
1. The original Oyster House. they have fan boat rides you can take there as well, might see a gator or two. great ride, though, great food.
2. Felix's fish camp. same people who own Ruth's Chris(from above) own this place. it is on the water as well. great food!!
3.The Blue Gill Restraunt is great.Locally owned, have a big local music on Tuesdays nights.
then you have downtown:
1. Cafe' Royal great food and music (i think)
2.The BattleHouse -which is newly restored and just opened has a hotel and restraunt. great history
Several martini bars and other bars all up and down Dauphin street.Several other restraunts to choose from. Shushi to fine dining.

We have the battleship,cant miss it,if your looking something to tour or history type stuff
i dont know how far you are willing to go, but Gulf Shores is like an hour and a half from Mobile and youve got the beach and everything else you could ask for there.

Our best vacation was to Williamsburg VA
we got the williamsburg pass which gave us unlimited access to colonial williamsburg, busch gardens europe, busch water park, and jamestown. we also ran out to va beach for a day. great trip
