I just got back from a wonderful trip to Belize with my boyfriend and I highly recommend this place. If you are going for 10 days like I did I recommend once you fly into Belize city take a flight from Belize city to Placencia. I recommend staying in Placencia for 3 nights. I recommend the Calico Jack Village. Next head over to the Mountain Pine region for about 3 nights then end it with a trip to either Ambergris Caye (san pedro) or Caye Caulker for another 2-3 nights. I do not recommend staying at any one location for more than 3-4 nights. Belize has a lot to offer for such a small country.

Dont leave Belize without visiting the caves, the ruins at Lamanai, and snorkeling off of Hol Chan Marine reserve and Shark Alley. Belize has a lot to offer for such a small country.
