McKinley highly recommends snorkeling here: YOU definitely should go snorkeling in Kealakekua Bay. You can see spinner dolphins there. Body Glove and a few other tour companies do a big cataraman trip there, so your sis can stay on the boat if she wants. Also, it's easier than kayaking out there... and more enjoyable because the sandy beach part of the bay is all gone, so it's not worth trekking down and paddling out from shore.

The BIG Island is a laid back small town feeling place UNLESS you stay at one of the Big Resorts for hundreds a nite. My condo association VI has 20+ units at Sea Village and I have been about 8 times to Kona. If you want to relax and get away from Big Cities like Honolulu try the Big Island and it's Aloha Spirit.

Many things to see and do but a MUST DO is the Seahorse Farm near Kona. Hand raised and many varieties can't say more as it will spoil the surprise at the end of the tour - once in a lifetime experience. My girlfriend still talks about it 15 months later.

Enjoy the sun - sunscreen, tropics people and the water, Mountains and the great people. The airport is also unique.
