Zany family, consisting of 2 adults and 2 children (2 boys aged 3 and 5 years) will be heading to Penang via Senai Airport, Johor Baharu and transit in Kuala Lumpur (KLIA - the best airport 2007) before arriving in Penang ETA 1330hrs.
Noraroz family, consisting of 2 adults and 4 children (4 girls aged 14, 13, 11 and 3 years old) will be heading to Penang direct from Senai Airport, Johor Baharu ETD 1025hrs.
Detailed itinerary is still being worked on and will be confirmed in a couple of days time. Tentatively, 1st day & night will be in Penang. After which, we'll be heading to Langkawi to spend our exciting holiday from 30th May 2007 to 6th June 2007.
Should we spend more time in Penang than Langkawi?
How many days should we allocate for Langkawi?

penang: allot of things to do, battu ferringhi night market, georgetwn, gurney (shopping), snorkeling, foodcourts, fort cornwallis, temples, ...
langkawi: verry nice beaches and beache activities, with a motorbike driving around the island for 1 day, cablecar, waterfalls!!, shoppingmall
you need more time for Penang than Langkawi, Langkawi is most suted for the beaches, Penang for the cultural things.
I stayd in penang for 4 months, I loved it, I went for 3 days to Langkawi and i think it didnt have to be more
