Talk about this trip (2)
I recommend this trip to anyone who needs to get away for a few days. We took the discovery cruise ship over from fort lauderdale which left at 7am. we arrived in Freeport at 1pm. The taxi ride from the port to the hotel was $16 dollars for the both of us. We stayed at the Flamingo Bay yatch club witch is right across the street from a resort which shares the property. Also there is a beach and lots of other things to do like water sports. Behing the hotel is canal that leads to the city. A ferry goes to the maketplace every hour and stops running at midnight. All I can say about Freeport is it was a well deserved vacation and the staff and natives made this trip all the more better. We will be returing!!!!
