I'm planning this 2-month trip to Europe. It's my first time there, so I need some tips and advice from some experienced users out there. Thanks in advance!
Hey , about your Euro vacation . First to get around I would highly recomend getting a Eur-rail trainpass for at least 30 days ,and I believe there cheaper here in the USA,and don't begin until they stamp it to begin. The europian train system is very fast you can get any where very easily from small towns to large ones, also the bus system coencides with train schedual and the passes are part of this . I did this 30 years ago ,and got a first class ticket ,most of the time I had a whole compartment to our selfs. You can see alot more.I started in Germany then Denmark,Sweden, back threw Germany, then Paris, went wright threw France with a couple of stops to southern France ,then Spain,Barcelona ,around the Spanish ,French and Italian Riviara, then to Florence ,Rome, back threw Italy ,Switzerland,Austria then back to Germany. All in 30 days easy. I also went to England but at that time the pass was not good there, but was very aford able as I was on a G.I's pocket book but didn't need a Travel agent ,and was a first class trip......Any Questians E-mail me..Have fun and drink lots of beer . PS don't feel bashful about luging a case of beer ,salomi, bread on the train as the don't care and you don't have to check your bags keepem with you! Travel light as you will be caring everything yourself but you can wash clothes every few days unless your in a beauty contest.... have fun.......
