I recently went this past feb 07. This is such a place of extremes. Such natural beauty, the land, the people, and right down the street, the poverty, the dirtiness. I regretted my trip at first, i wont lie. I went to meet gf i met on internet, by the way, i go back and we are getting married in july, dont regret that part. I regretted because we spent first week in manila and angeles city. Was so polluted, and dirty and poverty. Then we went to her province of Leyte. I truly enjoyed my stay from there on out. It is so beautiful, the air is clean, the streets are clean, the people are wonderfull. I really enjoyed my stay, and my next trip in july, we stay in leyte, and sariago. My only advice for first timers. HAVE TO LEAVE MANILA to truly experience the beauty and wonders the philippines has to offer!!

Philippines is the most wonderful place to visit in the whole of Asia. Its a place of many sightings. The best place to experience - from primitive to modern life.

You want secluded place? Go to hundred islands. Wow, i did enjoy staying there hopping one island to another. Then El Nido,Palawan.. few people.. very previliged few because only very few tourists new this place.. Many attractions to visit. The most exciting is the underground river.

You want nature. Then Donsol, Sorsogon is your place. See 30 to 50 huge whale sharks at a time.. Oh, my! It's so fantastic seeing this gentle animals! It's he most unfrogettable experience I had in this country. But, the hotels are not that good at my taste.. Anyway, its the whale sharks that counts not the hotels there!

You want free tourist attraction go to Albay and see the almost perfect yet deadly Mayon Volcano. It has a perfect cone! Very stunning!

Then, if you want crowded place. Manila is your destination. People dont sleep. Teh streets are busy 24 hours a day. Many clubs, disco houses, bars, entertainment places, casinos, etc. People are very friendly to foriegners. They are so magnetic. Girls are lovely and challenging because of their petite and feminine looks!

The best place to go is BORACAY. For me, this is the best beach in the whole world. it has the finest sands. Local folks are so warm. Services are cheap. Good massage. Many hotels. tourists around the world are here. The water is so great. ITS A PARADISE!

Other experiences, I had here are going to many churches. I see street kids offering you flowers, cigarettes, candies and greetings in exchange of coins.

Ohh.. I have so many things to say about the Philippines. Its a great coutnry with great people in a great place.

Come to see the difference!
