Loved the trip, hong kong kind of grew on us. Hotel was great, food was hard to get good halal food, but Islam food in Kowloon city was excellent (HK30 each way from the hotel). Underestimated food costs, but didn't spend very much on souveneirs …

for pal (Philippine airlines) passengers, from manila to hongkong,...the free baggage allowance limit is up to 20kgs or 44 lbs only. buy victoria peak fees at the airport buy mtr octupus card which costs about $150 HKD. But the $100 is refundable.
