We live on the California Central Coast and come up here often for our anniversary celebration. With the economy, some of our favorite restaurants are no longer there so make sure that you check. We did get recommended to try a company called Romantic Room Designs for a beach bonfire in Carmel which turned out great. During past trips we have also done wine tasting, hiking in Big Sur, kayaking in the bay and just spent some good times together (romance : ). I prefer Carmel a bit over Monterey and Pacific Grove is pretty slow but still charming.
Your trip seemed to be lots of fun. We plan on going next month for 7 days right after mothers day. We are looking to have some romance, adventure, good food and plenty of wine. After your experience in Monterey, do you think we will find what we are looking for? Pati & Ken
Your trip sounded-great and lots of fun.... do u have any tips I am going to santa cruz......this weekend...But, I am taking my kids.. Thank you in advance Lela & Phil
The only thing we planned on was the Monterey Bay Aquarium. The other places were spur of the moment. The scheduled things are a journal of the things we did this weekend.
Thank you in advance

I am trying to plan a trip for our 3rd Anniversary in April.
