We just walked up to the ticket counter and asked for the Versailles pass. They actually had a little advertisement posted at the counters, so it was easy to point to since our French was so bad.
Hey Laura... Sounds like a great trip! Question, the RER ticket with the Versaiiles pass included... did you order that online before you went or when you were in Paris? We're planning our trip for this fall and I hoping to get some useful tips! Thanks! Zaz
We just paid as we went on the Metro, and also we decided not to get the Paris Museum pass because we were only planning on hitting one museum a day. I don't know if we saved any money, but looking at the price for a one day metro pass, I think we did. But we did do A LOT of walking to get around.
I really enjoyed reading about your adventure. I am planning a visit in June and reading what you did has helped. I am trying to decide if I shoud buy the paris visitie pass for the metro or just pay as I go. Any suggestions?
Take care...
