Coastal Croatia is a must. Was in both Split and Dubrovnik in Sept, 2007. Loved it and want to go back. Had great hotels. The old fortress city of Dubrovnik is nothing like you have ever seen. A world treasure. Diocletain's Palace and the Riva in Split should not be missed. Be sure to go to Trogir. Wish we could have stayed longer. Water is perfect. Drink as much of it as you can...........
