this trip would be perfect for me to relax and be on a beach eespecially with a very special man in my life that i hope will marry me one of these days there
We were married in Oahu in February and stayed at this hotel (Marriott)...it's BIG one but very nice - TRY the steak house in the hotel, we ate there on our wedding night...VERY GOOD! As for Oahu - sooo much to do everyday and we did not waste a moment! One thing not mentioned here is the DUCK TOUR - we loved it, kinda "off beat", but we had a GREAT time and would recommed it to anyone of any age. We hope to go back again one day (we have friends that just moved there) and get to some of the other islands too.
My husband and I went on the Pride of Aloha in Jan of this year. All of the islands are beautiful and so many and fun things to do. I would recommend this to everyone. It sure is heaven on earth.
I just returned from 6 days on the beautiful island of Oahu and I would recommend it to anyone who can go. It is like a Heaven on Earth. The weather is beautiful, the landscape is breathtaking and there are so many things to do and see. I agree that this is definently something everyone should experience in their lifetime. I am already planning on returning to celebrate my 30th birthday in just over a year and a half.
My husband and I just returned from Oahu! We went there to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary (early) coming up in December! We thought it was the most beautiful place we have ever seen. We never took a honeymoon and now have three beautiful kids, 8-6-4 years old so we keep very busy with them. It was nice to just be US for a whole week. Very romantic and relaxing! We stayed at the Hilton Hawaiian Village and love this resort. We had a massage one day, ate very good food, visited Pearl Harbor and the USS Missouri (a must!) and rented a convertible one day and drove around the North Short which was just breathtaking. We can't wait to go back and will never forget our first trip to this beautiful place! I hope that everyone gets to go and experience it just once in their lifetime. Amy Donaldson
I met and married my husband on Oahu. He was stationed at Hickam AFB and my Dad was at Pearl Harbor. We are getting ready to have our 55th wedding(Sept 8) anniversary and would explode with joy to renew our vows on the Island. We have never had our family over there for a renewal and this anniversary would be just the best time to do it. We both have never lost our Aloha Spirit. Our first child was born at Tripler Hospital. I will always love the island...and have never been to the other islands ...as we love Oahu so much. Aloha Nui Aloha and Mahalo Jan McChesney
This trip would be a great trip for my husband's birthday, which is on November 3rd, and taking a dinner cruise along Hawai'i's beautiful ocean would be so romantic. We might have a baby #2! LOL~ This trip would be so romantic. We've been to Hawai'i before, I went to go meet up with him while he was ported in Pearl Harbor, but I brought our 4 month son along, and he was a hassle, because at the time, we hadn't seen each other in 4 months at the time and it was hard to be romantic and bring our son along, too. So this time would be great if it was "JUST THE TWO OF US". Thanks~ A Yahoo User
P.S. go see the North Shore! WOW!
