Oh, and there is so much to see within short distances from Gothenburg: The beautiful island of Marstrand with quaint houses and shops and awesome restaurants and the international sailing regatta; Skarhamn and the Watercolor Museum and its fantastic restaurant Vatten (Water); Astol Island with its wonderful seafood; Pilane Sculpture Park set in a natural pasoral environment on the island of Tjorn; and so much more!!!

My parents were born in Gothenburg, but I have never been to Sweden. They were/are pretty infatic about being American and American standards. They left Sweden in Sweden and I want to meet some of the relatives. Thank you for your note.

This is Sweden...my mother country...a piece of me. It's a fantastic place...is an "oasi" of pleasure and relax...it's nature and animal's life...for all that loves great capture and silence.
